Student project, not affiliated with Metrolink.

Overview

Metrolink is a regional commuter rail system connecting communities across Southern California.
It links riders to major cities, jobs, and transit hubs while providing a reliable alternative to driving.

01 · Problem

Solve a safety and belonging problem.

02 · Goal

Change the story from “commuter train” to “connection train.”

03 · Reach

Grow the audience without alienating existing riders.

System

One blue, one typeface, one line weight. Line colors handle route differentiation; everything else stays quiet.

The mark

A monogram built from the “M” in Anta, simplified into a wave drawn from the Southern California coast: movement, freedom, and the region’s coastal identity.
